About

Alexandre Lacroix, founder

Based in Paris and operating across Europe while expanding his footprint into the US (focusing on the Austin and DC ecosystems), Alexandre has spent eight years advising early-stage tech companies.

His background spans the full capital stack, beginning with non-dilutive financing for French tech flagships (Ubble, Homa, Greenly). This foundation evolved into a focus on equity dealmaking, advising on institutional rounds for early-stage ventures (Teeptrak, Happypal, Skipper NDT etc.).

Beyond his advisory work, Alexandre maintains a portfolio of over 45 angel investments (Gladia, Stockly, Payflows etc.). This direct involvement in rounds provides a proprietary perspective on investor sentiment and market standards.

The mission

Early-stage funding has spent the last few years recalibrating, moving past the era of easy liquidity while anchoring to the possibilities of the AI wave.

Companies still need capital, but the “rules of the game” change every six months.

Our mission is to bring founders consistency and structure in the vital step of fundraising.

The Marengo doctrine

Artisanal

We select a limited number of clients every year to ensure focus & availability.

We optimize for winrate, not volume.

We do not believe in brokerage.

Committed

We don't underestimate that raising money is often a do-or-die situation.

We operate as an extension of your team,

hands-on through the entire process.

Fundamental

Building equity stories from data, not sentiment. Markets are more disciplined; we demonstrate your value drivers empirically, aligned with market expectations. That’s the work.
